Getting Your Printed Materials “Printed”

Getting Your Printed Materials “Printed”

Once you’ve had your image creating branded printed materials created, the next step is to get it printed.

If you’ve already had your printed items created, we need the image of it to have our print company print it. Here’s a checklist for you when you’re providing your own graphics to be printed…

Print Design Checklist

When working with any designer (or doing it yourself) you want to make sure that your file is ready for print so that it won’t look nasty when printed.

Here are the basics you’ll need to make sure of:

1. All resolution is at least 300dpi

2. Colorspace is CMYK

3. Outside bleed is at least 1/8th inch (.125)

4. All text or critical images are at least 1/8th inch inside of the edge (called the “safety zone”).

5. Final file is preferably either in TIF or PDF. PSD, AI, JPG and PNG are acceptable as well but make sure all the resolution meets the standards.

All of the items we create for you are already print ready!
