In 1986 Mr. Chesnut started his first offline business and began his journey in marketing. From classes in school on marketing, he knew that the success of any business is based upon the effectiveness of their marketing. That is, the ability to generate leads of consumers interested in your product and then moving those leads on to becoming paying customers.

Mr. Chesnut’s first marketing mentor was world renowned marketing expert Jay Abraham. From the skills learned from Jay along with studying other marketing experts courses, his business grew by 200% to 500% per year until he sold it in 1989.

With a knack for building a business and putting in place effective marketing strategies along with having a passion for helping businesses grow, by the end of 1989 both Strategic Marketing Systems (SMS) and Insurance Automation & Marketing Consultants was started. A lot of Mr. Chesnut’s clients were from the very competitive insurance industry. Talk about a marketing challenge!

In 1993 he enjoyed one of his biggest early successes of helping a software company go from $20,000 of business per month to 30 days later  generating $200,000 of business to 5 more month later generating over $1,000,000 of business.

This was how it all began. Mr. Chesnut continued studying under some of the greatest marketing experts and copywriters available.

In 1998 the internet was opened up to commercial businesses. By 2000 Mr. Chesnut was working with websites and online marketing strategies. During the years of the infancy of the internet consumers were intrigued with it. It was an exciting time back then, like it is today, taking advantage of the many opportunities the internet presented to businesses.

1) Online audio and video testimonials … Wow, what a powerful strategy! And video testimonials are still very effective today.

2) Email capture form for email marketing combined with “process” marketing. And again, it’s still extremely effective today.

From testing, what we have consistently found is the best combination is combining online AND offline strategies together! Combining the two together creates the greatest results for businesses.
